We have provided some screenshots for you to imagine how it would look like with this mod. As settlers arrive you place plots around your settlement (each plot is 2x2 in size) and the settlers will start to build their own homes, their own farms, businesses, etc.
Basically, the system gives you four types of plots: residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial. When installing Sim Settlements, you will be provided with zones, which you can use to place down to mark the style of construction that you want your settlers to build in that area. But the in-a-nutshell description would be: its where a city building sim meets the Fallout 4 settlement system. Imagine how a city can be built out of your boring settlement. This mod also makes the settlers who live in their settlement look more lively and realistic.
The settlement system will now no longer be disconnected from the rest of the game anymore. It is great for players who love to have a diverse settlement. Sim Settlements will allow players to set different themes for each area of their settlement, which will make settler building houses differently. However, there are also some mod authors who create some mods for improving the settlement. Not all players will pay attention to their settlement when playing Fallout 4, which is not the main feature of the game.
