(game launches to title screen and crashes after new game is selected)

(game launches, but crashes as it is loading) (no change, but Team Fortress 2 runs a lot smoother now! :) ) NET framework through 'Turn Windows features on or off' setting in the control panel.

Changing the Fallout_default.ini in the main game directory by modifying the line 'bUseThreadedAI=0' to 'bUseThreadedAI=1' and then adding line 'iNumHWThreads = 2' beneath it.
